Dorian Vengeance – Down Time
by Commander Amanda Clark
Amanda was soaking in the bath tub, the lights were down some nice scented candels were going. Of course she had to fight with some one in engineering them cleared for use, but that was another matter. She had some old earth music playing by a great artist she had stumbled across in the archives. "the power of love" by Celine Dion, she loved the artist (I'm a big fan lol).
All she could think about is missing Mat, it had been quite some time since he was transfered. Of course she was still a little pissed off at him for just leaving and not having the balls to say good bye, but what could she do about that now? She just wanted him to be ok.
Of course the mission at hand was a little stressful as well, but she knew the crew would get through it they always did, and they always would. Their team work was pretty much amazing when they all pulled together. She had been with some of the crew for a long time and knew they were some of the brightes and best in their fields. Standing up and drying off with a towl she stepped out of the bath tub and grabbed her robe. "Computer please play something from the same artist just a little more jazzy."
The computered chimed "please specify"
She sighed "Something with a faster rhythm"
Again the computer beeped and shuffled thrugh it's library for a few seconds, and then started playing "Eye's on me"
Amanda started dancing around her quarters in her robe to the more jazzy music, it was great stress relief and good exercise.
